By accessing this website, booking an appointment, or receiving care at Smile Care Studio, you agree to these Terms & Conditions and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree with any part of these terms, please do not use this website or our services.

About our services

Smile Care Studio is an independent dental hygiene practice located at 1480 Walsh St W, Thunder Bay, Ontario. We provide preventive and cosmetic dental hygiene services, including cleanings, periodontal therapy, whitening and oral health education.

Content on this website is provided for general information only and does not constitute professional, medical or dental advice. A provider–client relationship is established only when you attend an appointment at our studio.

Appointments & cancellations

• Booking — appointments may be booked online, by phone or by email, and are confirmed by our team.
• Arrival — please arrive about 10 minutes early for first visits to complete any paperwork.
• Cancellation — we kindly request at least 24 hours' notice to cancel or reschedule, so the time can be offered to another patient.
• Missed visits — repeated late cancellations or missed appointments may affect future booking availability.

Fees, insurance & payment

Our fees follow the current provincial dental hygiene fee guide and are available on request. Payment is due at the time of service unless other arrangements have been made in advance.

Where you request it, we will submit claims to your insurance provider on your behalf; however, the account remains your responsibility. If a claim is partially covered or declined, the remaining balance is payable by you.

Using this website

When using this website you agree not to:

• Provide false or misleading information in forms or bookings.
• Attempt to interfere with, disrupt or gain unauthorized access to the site or its data.
• Use automated tools to scrape, copy or harvest content without permission.
• Upload viruses or malicious code, or use the site for any unlawful purpose.

Health information & emergencies

This website and its contact forms are not monitored for emergencies. If you are experiencing a medical or dental emergency, call 911 or go to the nearest emergency department immediately.

Please do not include urgent health concerns in website messages; call the studio directly for time-sensitive care needs.

Intellectual property

All content on this website — including text, images, logos, design and graphics — is owned by or licensed to Smile Care Studio and is protected by copyright law. You may not reproduce, distribute or commercially exploit any part of it without our prior written permission.

This site may include third-party services such as maps, payment processors and reCAPTCHA. These are provided by their respective owners under their own terms and privacy policies, and we are not responsible for their content or practices.

Limitation of liability

These terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada applicable therein, and any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Thunder Bay, Ontario.
